Dale Brickell lives north of Fremont with her husband and four cats. She has devoted approximately two acres of her farm to woody florals which include scarlet curls, curley willows , french pussy willow, japanese fantail willow, yellow and red twig dogwood. By becoming a member in 2006, Dale was on the ground floor of the development of the coop. Recently retired enables her to spend more time furthering the growth of Nebraska Woody Florals as well as volunteering in the garden at the May Museum in Fremont. The wedding of Dale’s oldest son last fall was a splendid opportunity to display the use of woody florals as the table centerpieces which numbered about 40. In her travels recently in Norway she noted the use of woody florals in a hotel lobby in Trondheim.
